Dear Expats and hungarian parents, who would be happy to include treir children in an english speaking, international group where they are creating colorful pictures, and getting to know different art techniques! Wellcome to L'Azur Art Studio!

L'Azur Art Studio offers a weekly english speaking art course for children 6-14 years old every monday from 16:30 to 18:30 in the afternoon.
The first time is for free, to let the kids and parents get a feel for the place and the activities before deciding to apply.
Entrance fee from 2019 april to the end of june 2019 is 8 000 Ft. The fee of the classes is 2 500 Ft/occasion/2 hours. All materials are provided. The first 4 weeks =4 classes are for half the price.
I'm looking for children who find joy in creating things with their own hands. The classes are just productive afternoon activities, your kid doesn't have to be an aspiring artist, my opinion is that taking part in creative activities is useful either way.

Wellcome!
My name is Lilla Szabó, I'm a 29 years old academically trained printmaker and art teacher. One of my biggest dreams has been to create my own little artschool for kids in the city center. I took the inspiration from an art studio I've attended between the ages of 8 and 12. I absolutely loved being there, it was a very happy period of my life, and I found that the things that I've learned there, (like the basic principles of art, or basic knowledge about a few topics in art history) proved to be very useful in my later studies in connection with art. During my years at The Hungarian University of Fine Arts, I had the opportunity to reconnect with my teacher there and for 6 years I've practiced teaching there, and had a few pupils.
How does my program for L'Azur Art Studio look like?
- There are 2 hour long lessons with a 10 minutes break in the middle
- The fields the children will create artworks in are: creative activities, fine art and arts and crafts. The kids are able to try many different techniques and materials to create pictures, sculptures and other handmade items like pots and mugs, textils and many more. They will be introduced to graphics and painting, printmaking, watercolour, akril paint, pastel, oil pastel, lino cutting, dry point, monotype, cardboard (paper) cut, clay, papier mache, color pencils...etc.
- The topics are mainly art history, everyday life, myths and fairy tales, different cultures, national-, and international holidays, folklore... etc.
- My goal is to provide a friendly, safe place for learning and creating, encouraging open mindedness, playfulness, for the children to try and experiment with ways of expressing themselves with given art supplies and given tasks. I also would like to teach them basic rules of art in a non-direct, playful way, like sketching, color balance, composition, etc.
My english is not perfect, but I think I'm well spoken, and always liked to be in an international environment, so if all this peaked your interest, feel free to contact me and ask me anything! :)
